Majuun founder Mari will be featured in Diversify: Female Founders in Focus, a photography exhibit at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art showcasing 200 women founders. The exhibition expands visibility, opens access to capital, and spotlights the scale of female entrepreneurship at a moment when who gets seen still shapes who gets funded.
Majuun was started because creation is inseparable from the people, places, and environments behind it. Weaving captures a striking juxtaposition: one of the oldest forms of making, yet still deeply relevant to how we think about value now. Artisan work belongs in museums, in the market, and in our homes. In a global category already valued at roughly $740 billion, with projections nearing $1 trillion by 2030, it belongs in investment conversations too.
