Jute is a natural plant fiber known for its strength, texture, and breathable quality. Because it’s a natural material, it can react to moisture and light, so caring for it properly will help preserve its color, shape, and structure. The material’s organic character means slight variations in color or texture are natural - and part of what makes your bag truly unique.

Avoid contact with liquid and moisture. If your bag gets wet, gently blot with a soft cloth and let it dry flat in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not machine wash. We use AZO-free dyes, which are safer for makers and the environment, though color may still transfer when exposed to water or friction. Always ensure the bag is completely dry before storing. Over time, the color may change naturally, reflecting the fiber’s organic nature.

For fringe styles, avoid folding or creasing the bag, as this can bend the jute. If the jute shifts or feels out of shape, it can be gently adjusted by hand. With proper care and storage, your bag will continue to reflect the beauty and craftsmanship that make it a timeless piece.
